Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises seeks a Regional Director of Operations to lead a portfolio of hotels from North Carolina. You will drive operational excellence, develop leadership talent, and ensure financial performance across properties.

You will onboard and evaluate General Managers, monitor performance, manage capital plans, and ensure robust training and engagement programs. Travel across the region is required for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel operations leadership, preferably multi-property management.
• Experience with select-service hotels and Marriott is required.
• Strong financial acumen and leadership/mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and onboarding of General Managers with mentoring and evaluations.
• Monitor hotel operations and resolve challenges promptly.
• Support strategic planning including long-term operational and capex plans.
• Ensure training, development, and associate engagement programs.
• Analyze financial and guest satisfaction metrics to drive improvements.
• Provide HR guidance and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain brand standards and Concord policies; prepare reports for ownership groups.

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Operations to lead and support a portfolio of hotels. This role is responsible for overseeing operational excellence, developing leadership talent, and ensuring financial performance across assigned properties. This role will be based in North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and onboarding of new General Managers, including mentoring and performance evaluations.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and create action plans for direct reports.
• Monitor hotel operations to identify and resolve challenges promptly.
• Support strategic planning, including long-term operational and capital expenditure plans.
• Ensure robust training, development, and associate engagement programs are in place.
• Analyze financial and guest satisfaction metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct asset evaluations and quality audits to safeguard owner investments.
• Provide HR guidance and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Foster a high-performance culture and support succession planning.
• Maintain consistent adherence to brand standards and Concord policies.
• Prepare and deliver reports for corporate and ownership groups.
• Actively participate in company-sponsored programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in hotel operations leadership, preferably multi-property management and in select service.
• Previous Marriott experience is required.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to travel regularly across assigned region.
