Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of related hotel operations experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in budgeting, financial reports, and P&L concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manages revenue from rooms, housekeeping, F&B, engineering and other departments.
• Ensures profitability and maintains strong working relationships with departments.
• Creates local and national marketing plans and pricing strategies.
• Responds quickly to market changes and revises strategies.
• Participates in sales discussions and plans; knows key accounts and staff production.
• Promotes hotel policies to employees and guests through direct and indirect interaction.
• Develops and monitors annual budget; tracks hotel performance vs. budget.
• Produces monthly financial reports and analyzes variances.
• Manages HR functions: turnover, development, retention, meetings.
• Maintains asset protection via preventative maintenance programs.
• Conducts periodic Quality Assurance and franchise reviews.
• Reviews marketing calls to understand market conditions; adjusts actions.
• Ensures compliance with laws and company policies; guides subordinates.
