Job summary

Cursor is seeking a Regional Director, Forward Deployed Engineering to lead and scale a team of FDEs across strategic enterprise accounts. You will own delivery, relationships, and opportunities from technical discovery to executive sponsorship, while aligning with Sales, Account teams, and partner networks.

The role demands deep technical credibility, people management, and the ability to keep engagements tightly scoped, delivered fast, and repeatable.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading technical teams that build and ship in production (Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar).
• Experience with software development and coding in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building AI-native workflows in production and debugging real-world model failures.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engagement delivery with enterprise accounts, from discovery to close.
• Lead, coach, and scale a team of Forward Deployed Engineers across strategic projects.
• Identify product gaps and drive roadmap input with Product and Engineering.
