Job summary

Cursor is building a Forward Deployed Engineering leadership team in the United States. You will guide a group of engineers embedded with enterprise customers, owning both delivery and day-to-day relationships while identifying new opportunities and expanding partner tracks with GSI and consulting firms.

This hands-on leadership role requires deep technical credibility, people management, and the ability to keep engagements scoped tightly, delivered quickly, and worth repeating.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading technical teams delivering production code.
• Experience with software development in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Built AI-native workflows in production and debugged real-world model failures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a team of 6–8 Forward Deployed Engineers on strategic projects.
• Oversee delivery quality from scoping and milestones to handoffs.
• Develop reusable playbooks to improve the broader FDE org capabilities.
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to translate business needs into deliverables and roadmap.
