Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI, is seeking a Regional Director for the U.S. Midwest to lead operations across multiple data center sites and set regional standards for performance, safety, and reliability.

You will manage budgets, forecast staffing, and partner with Product, Network Engineering, Security, Finance, and other teams to align capacity with customer demand and product roadmaps. Occasional travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in critical facility operations with >=5 years in senior management or multi-site leadership in data centers.
• Experience scaling data center ops in cloud, hyperscale, GPU, or HPC.
• Leads geographically dispersed 24/7 operations teams including managers and individual contributors.
• Proven ability to translate business and technical needs into regional execution plans.
• Strong communication with executives, partners, and on-site teams during high-pressure incidents.
• Experience managing large capital and operating budgets.
• Thorough knowledge of data center infra including cooling, power, fire, security, networking.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards like Uptime Institute, ISO, OSHA, and local codes.
• Willingness for after-hours/weekend work during critical incidents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data center uptime and SLA adherence across the region.
• Oversee incident response performance and post-incident actions.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance execution.
• Ensure safety performance and compliance readiness.
• Drive capacity readiness across MW, rack space, and staffing.
• Manage regional budgets and vendor performance.
• Use KPIs, SLAs, dashboards to track uptime and readiness.
• Standardize SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs across sites.
• Ensure operational data is accurate across tooling and reporting systems.
