CoreWeave is seeking a Regional Director for the U.S. Midwest to lead operations across multiple data center sites, setting regional standards for performance, reliability, safety, and operational excellence.

You will be on-site regularly to conduct audits, mentor local teams, and ensure consistent execution in the field. The ideal candidate will be based near a data center hub (Indiana, Ohio, or Illinois) with up to 40% travel to support multi-site operations and incident management, aligning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in critical facility operations with 5+ years in senior/multi-site leadership.
• Experience scaling data center ops in cloud, hyperscale, GPU or HPC environments.
• Led geographically dispersed 24/7 operations teams and managers.
• Ability to convert business/technical requirements into regional execution plans.
• Strong stakeholder communication with executives, partners, and on-site teams.
• Experience managing large-scale budgets and regulatory standards familiarity.
• Willingness for occasional after-hours work during incidents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data center uptime and SLA adherence across the region.
• Oversee incident response performance and post-incident actions.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure safety performance and compliance readiness.
• Drive capacity readiness across MW, rack space, and staffing.
• Manage regional budgets, vendor performance, and cost optimization.
• Use KPIs and dashboards to track uptime, incidents, and readiness.
• Standardize SOPs/MOPs/EOPs across sites and maintain auditable docs.
• Ensure data in tooling and reporting systems is accurate.
