CoreWeave is seeking an accomplished Director of Data Center Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary team and set the technical direction for CoreWeave’s global data center portfolio.

You will develop, maintain, and govern the Basis of Design, reference designs, and long-term design roadmaps while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, high-density compute capabilities. All travel is estimated at about 20% of time across sites.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of data center engineering experience.
• 8+ years in leadership or people-management roles.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, civil, architectural, and other disciplines.
• Proven experience developing, maintaining, and governing Basis of Design, reference designs, and long-term roadmaps.

Responsabilités

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering team across mechanical, electrical, architectural, civil, structural, controls, and other critical infrastructure disciplines.
• Establish the technical vision and engineering strategy for CoreWeave’s global data center portfolio.
• Lead Basis of Design governance and ensure designs reflect lessons learned and evolving requirements.
• Develop and maintain a long-term design roadmap for future data centers.
• Coordinate with Design Management, Data Center Technology, Capacity, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, Network Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Provide escalation and risk assessment support to executive leadership.
