Job summary

Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies in Orlando, FL is seeking a Director/AVP of Distribution to lead a team of Territory Managers, drive profitable growth, and strengthen agency partnerships across a multi-state region.

This field-based role requires extensive travel, coaching, and execution of sales strategies; ideal candidates have 7-10+ years of progressive leadership in distribution and deep knowledge of commercial insurance products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel; Power BI experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers across the region.
• Build and strengthen relationships with agency partners to drive profitable growth.
• Execute sales and distribution strategies that support regional business objectives.
• Identify market opportunities and expand GUARD's presence across the region.
• Monitor agency performance, market conditions, and competitive activity to guide business decisions.
• Partner with distribution leadership to support territory planning, growth initiatives, and overall business performance.
