Job summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee hotel engineering across multiple properties with extensive travel. You will lead regional operations, mentor engineers, and drive safety programs while ensuring asset preservation and energy efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in hospitality engineering management, strong leadership, and a track record in budgeting and capital projects. Remote work is paired with significant travel to properties nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school coursework required.
• Certification in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Project Management preferred.
• Five years of Director of Engineering or multi-property maintenance experience in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support regional engineering staff and property-level engineers across multiple hotels.
• Assist in interviewing and selecting Area Chief Engineers and Property Level Chief Engineers.
• Train engineers on safety protocols and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Oversee the hotel’s preventative maintenance program and energy-reduction initiatives.
• Manage capital projects and assist in securing bids from PHM and local vendors.
• Promote proper documentation, audits, and asset preservation during budgeting.
