Legacy Healthcare in Cincinnati and Dayton seeks a Regional Director of Business Development for Skilled Nursing. You will oversee hospital liaison and BD activities, driving referrals, census growth, and market share across the region.

You will build relationships with hospitals, health systems, and referral sources while guiding a team of liaisons and professionals to ensure high-quality transitions of care and exceptional partner experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field required.
• Experience in healthcare business development or hospital relations preferred.
• Direct experience with hospitals, health systems, discharge planning, or referral development preferred.
• Experience leading hospital liaisons or BD teams is a plus.
• Strong understanding of skilled nursing and post-acute referral processes.
• Proven ability to drive census growth and referrals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership for hospital liaison and BD activities across Cincinnati & Dayton.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase referrals, admissions, census, and market share.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, health systems, physicians, case managers, and payers.
• Lead and coach facility-level hospital liaisons and BD representatives.
• Set clear goals, standards, and metrics for the BD team.
• Monitor referral trends and market activity to inform strategy.
• Identify new referral opportunities in targeted hospitals and systems.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Administrators and clinical leadership to improve transitions of care.
• Coordinate with admissions and clinical teams for timely communication on referrals.
• Promote services and value proposition to referral partners.
• Travel regionally to support facilities and referral relationships.
