Job summary

Volunteers of America Western Washington seeks a Program Director to provide overall leadership and accountability for Disability Services across Skagit, Snohomish, and King Counties. You will supervise senior managers, monitor performance, and ensure safe, high-quality services that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

You will partner with executive leadership to drive staff development, operational standards, and program growth while maintaining strong relationships with DDA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in human services or disability services.
• Proven ability to coach and develop managers and leaders.
• Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of DDA, WAC requirements, and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall leadership and accountability for Disability Services across multiple counties.
• Supervises and develops Senior Program Managers and Program Managers.
• Monitors program performance, staffing levels, and client outcomes; addresses risks.
• Ensures compliance with DDA requirements, WAC regulations, and agency policies.
• Leads strategy, quality assurance, training, and program improvement initiatives.
