Job summary

Volunteers of America Western Washington is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work directly with adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting in Everett, WA. DSPs provide daily living support, assist with health, safety, and community integration, and document client progress in accordance with program guidelines.

Responsibilities include monitoring client well-being, supporting transportation and activities, and maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Must pass background check as per WAC guidelines.
• Ability to lift and assist clients up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to achieve PCSP and IISP goals and document progress.
• Instruct and assist with daily living activities, health, hygiene, meals, and community skills.
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments and activities.
• Maintain safety and professional boundaries; document incidents and changes in client records.
