Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services is seeking a Regional Director to lead operations across the region, including Tyler, Harlingen, and surrounding communities. The role drives growth, builds partnerships with government and nonprofit stakeholders, and ensures financial discipline and program integrity.

You will supervise Directors and Program Directors while shaping strategic initiatives aligned with the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• At least 5 years of senior leadership experience in complex organizations.
• 3+ years in developing staff and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage regional operations, oversee revenues and expenditures with internal controls.
• Pursue opportunities for new or expanded services within a mission-driven framework.
• Represent BCFS in the community and build relationships with leaders, officials and donors.
• Identify, cultivate and solicit government contracts and private gifts.
• Ensure financial stewardship, program compliance, and timely reporting.
• Recruit, develop and engage staff to form a high-performing team.
• Oversee regional budget development and manage policy decisions.
• Mentor staff and support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
