World Relief in Chicagoland is seeking a Director of Advancement to lead fundraising, communications and external engagement. This role provides strategic leadership for all advancement functions in Chicagoland, aligning with World Relief priorities and organizational goals.

The ideal candidate has a strong fundraising background, a track record of compelling communications, and a collaborative leadership style focused on results; experience with major gifts, donor stewardship and community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 7 years progressively responsible fundraising experience
• 3–5 years managing major donor portfolios
• Strong written and oral communication skills and donor stewardship track record

Responsabilités

• Lead local fundraising, communications and external engagement for Chicagoland.
• Develop and implement annual private fundraising plans with goals and metrics.
• Coordinate strategy across church engagement, development, communications and volunteer teams.
• Lead and coach cross-functional teams, including donor relations and engagement.
• Represent World Relief Chicagoland in donor meetings and community partnerships.
