Job summary

New Life Centers of Chicagoland is seeking a Director of Institutional Partnerships to secure philanthropic revenue from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. The role is full-time, exempt, remote with occasional Chicago visits and travel as needed, reporting to the Senior Director of Development.

You will oversee grants, craft complex proposals, and guide the Grants team to ensure compliant, high-quality submissions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of nonprofit development experience.
• Strong proposal development and grant reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lead a small grants team and coordinate with partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an annual institutional fundraising strategy focused on foundations, corporations, and government funding.
• Build, maintain, and grow a pipeline of institutional funding prospects.
• Manage a portfolio of institutional funders and prospects.
• Meet or exceed annual institutional revenue goals through strategy and grants work.
• Oversee the full grant lifecycle, including prospecting, proposal development, submission, reporting and renewals.
• Supervise and mentor the Grants team and coordinate with program and finance staff.
