Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager in California to enable high performance of the supply chain facility. Lead Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants and EAM Technicians, drive reliability, and coordinate safety and asset care.

You will implement data-driven processes, own shift metrics, and manage internal/external teams to meet demanding timelines. A 4-year engineering degree and prior supervisory experience are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Previous supervisory experience in a team environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage, lead, and influence others on a team while prioritizing multiple projects.
• Experience with multi-contractor management.
• Self-motivated and customer-centric.
• Excellent PC competency.

Responsibilities

• Enable high performance of the supply chain facility.
• Provide leadership to Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants and EAM Software Technicians.
• Manage external contractors and be on call for emergencies.
• Develop a data-driven continuous improvement process focused on root cause elimination.
• Improve asset reliability and lifecycle management of site equipment.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to meet goals.
• Ensure safety and compliance across the team and site.
