Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering and Facilities Maintenance Manager in its Supply Chain network in Thornton, CO. You will lead strategies to optimize systems, drive continuous improvement, and create high-performing environments to ensure products reach guests reliably.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, capital projects, vendor management, and safety programs while coaching a diverse maintenance team and managing OpEx/CapEx to deliver durable equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Preferred 4-year degree in a relevant technical or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams across designated shifts—including weekends, overnights, and holidays, while ensuring operational continuity.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Skilled in contractor/vendor management, capital project oversight, and ensuring quality, cost, and performance outcomes.
• Proficient in CMMS/EAM systems and PC applications.
• Expertise in ammonia refrigeration systems with PSM/RMP and IIAR standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance, oversee capital projects, manage vendors, and coordinate emergency repairs.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop talent through coaching and feedback across shifts.
• Enforce safety standards (LOTO, Arc Flash, PPE) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee budget planning and cost control for OpEx and CapEx while driving reliability.
• Coordinate cross-functional planning to deliver reliable product flow to guests.
