Job summary

DP World seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead critical facility operations for a high-profile warehouse environment in California. You will manage maintenance, building systems, and a team of technicians while ensuring safety, reliability, and peak performance.

You will oversee preventive maintenance programs, coordinate with contractors and unionized staff (where applicable), and drive energy management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates degree plus relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Prior supervisory/managerial experience in industrial environments.
• Able to communicate effectively across management levels.
• Proj planning and independent work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; SAP purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Lead skilled technicians and mechanics in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and related systems.
• Assign work orders; oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities.
• Plan, schedule, and complete preventive maintenance operations.
• Coordinate with contractors; ensure compliance with local laws and safety regulations.
• Provide evaluations for Facilities & Maintenance Supervisors and team members.
• Oversee external contractors; monitor maintenance projects and energy management programs.
• Prioritize workloads based on shift demands; serve as on-call emergency lead.
