Job summary

Amazon AIS is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to own regional stocking across the Americas, ensuring parts are available before outages and driving fixes from root causes.

You will monitor availability, balance inventory across sites, own on-time delivery, ensure inventory accuracy, and lead improvements with logistics and data teams.

The role partners with engineering on automation ideas and mentors staff; you will translate data into leadership-ready recommendations and decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python.
• Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization, including coaching of junior staff.
• Experience measuring key operational metrics (e.g., order cycle time, ship estimate accuracy, on-time and complete shipment, inventory record defect rate).

Responsibilities

• Monitor hardware availability across the Americas, identify root causes when things go wrong, and build action plans that fix problems at their source.
• Balance inventory positions and demand trends; drive rebalancing between sites when one location overstocked and another understocked.
• Own delivery performance by tracking on-time parts arrival, digging into exceptions, and improving delivery windows with logistics partners.
• Manage inventory accuracy by ensuring system records match physical shelves, including cycle counts and material flows.
• Bring new data centers online by owning the spares readiness plan before first server goes live.
• Drive improvement projects to make planning smarter, faster, and more automated.
• Communicate to leadership by translating complex supply chain data into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
