Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities such as data centers, power generation, or related environments.
• Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution.
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of discipline leads to deliver quality and globally consistent data center designs across Americas within schedule and cost constraints.
• Influence internal stakeholders, operations, and external consultants to address program-wide design changes.
• Manage escalations from the design team and collaborate with procurement, construction and external consultants.
• Communicate with AWS Leadership and external partners, including metrics tracking of schedule, cost, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive innovative solutions to reduce change orders while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Create global best practice documentation and facilitate sharing across the globe.
