Job summary

CBRE Government Services is seeking an Area Manager to lead custodial operations across five to ten locations within a metropolitan region. You will set regional standards, supervise site leaders, manage the region's budget and labor plan, and serve as the senior client contact.

You will spend significant time in the field auditing quality, coaching teams, and resolving issues before they reach the client, while ensuring safety, compliance, and cost control across all sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of job-related experience, including multi-site supervision.
• Bachelor’s Degree or combination of experience and education.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; daily travel between sites.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities operations, including supervision.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise site supervisors and cleaning staff across locations.
• Set regional operating standards, staffing models, schedules, and task calendars.
• Manage regional budget and P&L, labor and supply forecasting, payroll, PO, and variance review.
• Maintain staffing coverage through workforce planning and cross-training.
• Lead client meetings, escalations, and contract-related matters.
