Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Regional Controller for the Midwest (Bloomington, MN, moving to Edina). You will lead regional accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management, partnering with Operations to optimize project execution and working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field; 8+ years in accounting/finance, construction experience preferred.
• CPA/audit/controls experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills for project-based accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional accounting and financial operations with strict adherence to policies and controls.
• Drive month-end close, reconciliations and regional reporting.
• Oversee WIP, job cost, and cost-to-complete forecasting and reporting.
• Develop annual regional budget and rolling forecasts with variance analysis.
• Collaborate with project teams to optimize profitability and cash flow.
• Manage tax compliance and lien/retainage processes with shared services.
