Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of job cost accounting, journal entries, and monthly close.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented and accountable.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable balancing hands-on execution with process improvement and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership for three business units (Iowa, Minnesota, Montana) and partner with regional leadership.
• Manage job cost accounting, monthly close, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Monitor receivables and cash flow, improve billing accuracy and collection timelines.
• Support monthly close activities and strengthen accounting workflows as the business grows.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and provide operational financial support.
