Job summary

OX Group seeks a Controller to lead the North American finance function, ensuring accurate financial statements and strong internal controls. The role collaborates with executive leadership to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making, with weekly office presence in Henrietta, NY.

The candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, audits, treasury, tax, and process improvements, while mentoring the accounting team and partnering with global finance teams for consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA/CMA certification preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership exposure.
• GAAP/IFRS knowledge and tax awareness essential.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under GAAP/IFRS.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting with cross-functional teams and analyze variances.
• Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and data.
• Coordinate external and internal audits and address findings.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team; conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee AP/AR processes and optimize cash flow.
• Monitor daily cash flow and develop forecasts for liquidity needs.
• Ensure timely tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Provide strategic financial insights to leadership for decisions.
• Drive system/process improvements for accuracy and reporting.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency.
