Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on construction safety experience.
• Experience working for a General Contractor.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA guidelines, regulations, and safety programs.
• Excellent hazard recognition, data analysis, and risk assessment skills.
• Ability to produce clear reports and implement safety solutions.
• Leadership and communication skills to guide teams during incidents.

Responsibilities

• Champion Safety Culture: Develop and enforce health and safety policies.
• Lead Safety Programs: Design safety plans and JHAs for projects.
• Monitor & Report: Track compliance and communicate updates.
• Identify hazards: Spot risks and implement preventive measures.
• Drive Engagement: Lead toolbox talks and training sessions.
• Stay Present: Maintain on-site presence and participate in meetings.
• Ensure Compliance: Verify work follows manuals and contract requirements.
• Maintain Documentation: Keep logs of inspections and correspondence.
• Oversee Site Activity: Supervise subcontractors to meet EHS requirements.
• Investigate & Improve: Conduct accident investigations and close corrective actions.
• Enforce Standards: Ensure proper PPE use and safety procedures.
• Support the Project: Contribute to additional safety initiatives.
