Job summary

MYCO Mechanical is seeking a proactive Regional Safety Manager to lead our jobsite safety efforts across all active construction projects in the State College area. This role is critical to maintaining our commitment to the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental protection.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to implement and enforce company policies and regulatory standards across diverse job

Qualifications

• Proven safety leadership in construction or mechanical trades.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead safety trainings and meetings.
• Travel to multiple job sites as needed.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure OSHA and company safety policy compliance.
• Identify and report safety violations, especially imminent danger.
• Develop and implement corrective actions with project teams.
• Oversee safety documentation: JHA, training records, toolbox talks, OSHA logs.
• Enforce Safety Manual and industry standards across sites.
• Lead safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents using root cause analysis methods.
• Coordinate with workers' compensation carrier on injuries and RTW.
• Maintain safety performance metrics and reporting.
• Conduct new-hire safety orientations and documentation.
• Train staff on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
• Enforce standards and administer disciplinary actions for non-compliance.
• Assist superintendents with safety planning and coordination.
• Support subcontractor safety program reviews to MYCO standards.
• Lead safety meetings and safety committees.
• Stay up-to-date with OSHA standards and local regulations.
• Environmental regulations knowledge is a plus.
