Job summary

Amazon is seeking a field-based Construction Safety Manager for DCPD Health and Safety to support AWS Data Center Planning and Delivery programs across the Americas, EMEA, or APAC regions. The role partners with Real Estate, Permitting, Construction, and Procurement teams to drive safety performance.

The position reports to H&S Program Specialists and requires 3+ years in construction safety, along with leadership and data-driven decision-making to improve safety culture and compliance on

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• 3+ years of health and safety in construction or industrial environments with knowledge of safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy H&S programs covering leadership, planning, controls, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with DCPD managers to prioritize H&S in planning and execution.
• Ensure contractors and AWS deployment vendors comply with onboarding requirements.
• Conduct site visits and oversee H&S kickoff sessions and reviews.
• Document data and insights for weekly and monthly leadership reviews.
