Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Planning and Delivery seeks a Construction Safety Manager to support safety programs on field construction projects. This role involves working with Real Estate, Due Diligence, Permitting, Energy, Pre-Construction, Construction, Commissioning, Security and Procurement teams to meet H&S goals.

You will report to the Regional Construction Safety Manager and travel to sites around Columbus, OH, San Antonio, TX, Denver, CO, with occasional travel to other

Qualifications

• 6+ years of program or project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of health and safety experience in construction or industrial environments, including knowledge of safety management systems and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deploy H&S programs across DCPD projects and coordinate with Real Estate, Permitting, and Construction teams.
• Oversee contractor safety management and onboarding to ensure compliance.
• Conduct site visits and audits to improve safety culture and performance.
• Report data and trends to H&S leadership and governance bodies.
