Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Regional Safety Engineer – DCPD to support AWS Data Center Planning and Delivery programs in the greater Washington DC area.

You will partner with real estate, due diligence, permitting, energy, and construction teams to achieve health and safety goals and improve safety culture. You will manage H&S programs, lead risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement across regional projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 4+ years of compliance program management, governance, audit, risk prevention, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SQL and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Influence program development, framework and strategy while deploying H&S programs.
• Coordinate with DCPD managers to prioritize H&S in planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance of GC and AWS deployment vendors to onboarding requirements in Avetta.
• Lead site visits with H&S resources and conduct kickoff sessions.
• Document data and anecdotes in standard reporting tools for leadership teams.
• Manage 3rd party/internal H&S resources on DCPD projects.
