Job summary

The role involves supporting planning and progress of construction and renovation projects across a broad portfolio, with daily travel to various work sites in Berks, Chester, Lancaster, and surrounding counties.

The position requires four years of relevant construction experience or an equivalent combination, and travel to sites within and outside the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Four years of professional building construction administration, construction planning, or construction project engineering experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Requires possession of an active PA Class C driver's license or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Project Monitoring: Track construction progress and identify issues that may slow or disrupt work.
• Technical Guidance: Provide direction to contractors and outside professionals on project expectations.
• Quality Assurance: Confirm materials, inspections, and testing meet required standards.
• Change Orders: Review and evaluate proposed changes for impact on project needs.
• Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project records in the department's electronic system.
• Agency Coordination: Serve as a contact for agencies to reduce disruptions during construction activities.
