Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Construction Regional Global Practice Manager for the Midwest, based in Akron, OH. This leadership role directs strategic development of the Construction Global Practice, driving growth, client satisfaction and profitability.

You will recruit and develop talent, lead a multidisciplinary team delivering Construction, EPC and Program Management services, and ensure safety, quality and financial performance to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, business or related degree and 10 years relevant consulting experience.
• 5 years’ experience managing EPC or similar delivery projects including budget, scheduling and client coordination.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present complex information to all levels.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent and lead the Midwest Region Construction Practice.
• Identify target clients and organize a focused sales approach strategy.
• Recruit, hire, develop and retain outstanding employee-owners.
• Manage a team to deliver Construction, EPC and Program Management services.
• Develop and administer marketing and client maintenance budgets.
• Develop and implement safety, quality and financial controls for projects.
• Achieve targets for financial performance and profitability.
• Coordinate multi-discipline project execution from conception to completion.
• Lead contract negotiations and proposal development.
• Develop relationships with partners and subcontractors.
