Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee daily project operations across multiple sites in Virginia. You will provide strategic leadership to Project Managers and Superintendents, ensuring alignment with company standards and regional goals.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, project controls, and collaboration with clients and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in commercial construction with leadership at PM or Senior PM level.
• Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects across a regional footprint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple construction projects throughout Virginia.
• Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
• Monitor project performance related to schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
• Mentor and develop project teams to strengthen leadership capabilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and compliance with safety standards.
