Job summary

MPI is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on multiple heavy civil and site development projects in Northern and Central New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. You will lead concrete construction activities, manage crews and subcontractors, and drive project schedules to deliver high-quality results.

The role demands a strong track record in safety, scheduling, and coordination with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Strong background overseeing concrete construction activities.
• Experience managing heavy civil, site development, excavation, utility, or paving projects preferred.
• Proven leadership of field crews and subcontractors.
• Track record of delivering projects safely and efficiently.
• Construction scheduling and coordination.
• Site safety management.
• Blueprint and construction drawing interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on construction projects.
• Manage site personnel, subcontractors, and project schedules.
• Lead concrete construction activities and ensure quality execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Maintain project safety, compliance, and productivity standards.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, equipment, and material utilization.
