Exelon in Baltimore seeks a Senior Communications Manager to lead internal and external communications across the Mid-Atlantic region. You will guide executives, shape workplace messaging, and drive employee engagement with strategic campaigns.

The role requires a 4-year degree and more than 10 years in communications, outstanding writing, and proven leadership. Travel and nuclear-site access may be required.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree and a minimum of 10+ years in communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• In lieu of degree, 12-15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication and management skills.
• High level of self-motivation and independence.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking ability; self-motivation; organizational sensitivity.
• Excellent follow through; demands high performance from self and others.
• Demonstrated managerial experience.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear site, as applicable.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop, manage, and execute strategic communications plans to support business objectives.
• Implement and manage creative communication vehicles and approaches in support of Director of Communications.
• Assist Director in advising and counseling executives on internal and external communications.
• Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff and participate in career development and business planning.
• Execute external outreach: ensure strong press relations and community outreach plans.
