Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Regional Account Manager in Houston to lead outside commercial sales of our Commercial products to mid-size and large institutional buyers. The role involves presenting to builders, developers, designers and contractors, and coordinating with the Inside Commercial Sales team and the Commercial Support Center to source, bid and manage large commercial jobs.

You will travel daily to call on customers, prospect new accounts, and maintain strong relationships while staying

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in commercial industry sales required, preferably flooring/building materials.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily throughout the assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers.
• Manage projects from inception to completion including opportunity identification, product selection, order placement, tracking, delivery coordination, installation oversight and punch/claim coordination.
• Prospect for new accounts and stay aware of local market dynamics.
• Follow up on leads from sources such as Dodge, store leads, networking groups, etc.
• Collaborate with PRO Teams to pursue commercial leads and maximize sales.
