Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Regional Account Manager to drive outside sales of Commercial products to medium and large institutional buyers in the Charleston area. You will prospect new accounts, coordinate with the Inside Commercial Sales team, and manage large commercial jobs from bid to completion.

The role requires CRM experience (Salesforce), strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record in retail or building materials sales. Travel is daily and is based in the local market.

Qualifications

• Minimum eligibility: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily throughout the assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers.
• Manage projects from inception to completion including identifying opportunity, product selection, specification, order placement, order tracking, delivery coordination, installation oversight, punch walk, and claim coordination.
• Proactively prospect for viable new accounts while developing awareness of local market conditions.
• Submit proposals and responses to RFQs and RFPs after pricing and specifications approval from management.
• Coordinate with Inside Commercial Sales and Commercial Support Center to ensure product availability and timely fulfillment.
• Stay current on product training and new lines; participate in trade shows and promotional efforts.
