We are seeking a highly ambitious, experienced, and results-driven Regional Commercial Director to lead, develop, and scale our North America West Coast region.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for the strategy and 360-degree commercial execution across all distribution channels, including company-owned retail boutiques, partner-operated locations, and multi-brand watch partners.

Your day-to-day functions will include organizing and ensuring synergy across several cross-functional teams to achieve positive brand and business impact in the West Coast region.

Part analytical strategist and part luxury brand champion, you will drive operational excellence, inspire high-performing teams, and cultivate an environment that consistently meets both brand milestones and ambitious revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development: Market Strategy, Turnover & Sales
  • Develop annual, monthly, and 3-year plans and budgets. Execute strategic commercial plans to achieve financial targets, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Partner closely with HQ to help shape and adapt the commercial roadmap for the West Coast, ensuring plans align with global brand guidelines while remaining highly relevant to local market dynamics.
  • Closely monitor and analyze sales performance in all boutiques and wholesale distribution channels.
  • Partner closely with the Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure that all boutiques have the correct product assortment and optimal product availability to achieve sales goals.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative, productive relationships with HQ NY and Headquarters in Geneva and Milan.
  • Develop events and media schedules in cooperation with the Marketing and Communications Department to strengthen relationships with the existing client base and reach new prospects.
  • Partner closely with the Brand President on the regional P&L, ensuring the Group’s internal control procedures are implemented, complied with, and closely monitored.
  • Ensure all employees are assigned clear sales and productivity goals and receive the necessary support to reach them. Lead reporting, analysis, and stay highly informed of market trends and business opportunities.
2. Client Experience & Boutique Journeys
  • Map, elevate, and refine the end-to-end client journey at the boutique level, ensuring every touchpoint delivers a seamless, memorable, and personalized luxury experience.
  • Manage regional client relations and ensure the highest standards of luxury client service.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with top VIPs and collectors in support of boutique teams.
  • Ensure boutique managers proactively drive the clienteling process and database management. Partner with the Client Experience /Marketing team to develop targeted actions to strengthen relationships with existing customers and acquire new ones.
  • Elevate awareness of the Brand and provide regional input to the Client Experience team to implement local activities that maximize sales and customer loyalty.
3. People & Talent Development
  • Participate in the recruitment for all open positions and the professional growth of boutique teams, closely coordinated with the HR Department.
  • Manage, implement, and monitor all Ambassador KPIs, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Support boutique managers' development and help them actively manage team performance. Identify and develop Brand Ambassadors within the wholesale network.
  • Manage the annual Performance Management Process. Conduct monthly meetings with retail leaders and teams to align on vision and performance.
  • Identify high-potential talent and implement development and succession plans to support business growth and retain a motivated workforce.
  • Support the onboarding of all new boutique hires and ensure that training initiatives are effectively implemented in the region.
4. Brand Image & Merchandising
  • Ensure a flawless presentation of the brand in each boutique, collaborating with the Visual Merchandising team to execute display guidelines and timely animation implementation.
  • Oversee brand image and visibility in coordination with Store Design & Planning, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
  • Reinforce the auto-replenishment (APO) business model to maintain appropriate stock levels. Review assortments per boutique and POS weekly.
  • Improve product replenishment processes to ensure optimal model stock for retail and e-commerce, minimizing lost sales due to product unavailability or shipping delays.
  • Implement and maintain boutique operating policies and procedures in partnership with RNA Finance and Loss Prevention departments.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Communications, Client Experience, Events, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, IT, and HR to support global strategies and execute targeted action plans per boutique.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience within a luxury retail environment.
  • Client & People Focus: Deeply client-centric, people-oriented, and passionate about the luxury customer journey.
  • Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Systems: Proficiency with SAP is a plus.
