Job summary

Providence is seeking an Executive Director Quality to lead regional quality, safety, infection prevention and regulatory compliance across Southern California. This hands‑on role partners with medical leadership to drive clinical excellence and evaluate performance using data and scorecards.

You will guide strategy development, oversee improvement initiatives, and ensure alignment with the Quality Strategic Plan while mentoring clinicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is required or equivalent experience.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience leading clinical quality improvement in a large health system.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality, safety, regulatory compliance and patient experience initiatives across the service area.
• Coordinate with ministry and regional leadership to align with the Quality Strategic Plan.
• Foster physician and staff engagement to advance clinical excellence.
• Monitor performance data and drive evidence-based improvements.
