Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to drive client experience and operational excellence across multiple offices in the Redding–Red Bluff area. This on-site role leads day-to-day service delivery, coaches teams, and supports recruitment and onboarding, while aligning with company initiatives to improve client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes strong communication, data-driven decisions, and the ability to visit multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate, coach, and build relationships across diverse teams.
• Analytical skills to interpret performance data, identify trends, and drive improvements.
• Sales and client service experience, including promoting services and supporting local marketing.
• Training and team development experience, including facilitating sessions and mentoring.
• Negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities to handle client escalations and align stakeholders.
• Experience in retail, service, or multi-unit operations leadership is beneficial.
• Comfort with business software and reporting tools; familiarity with tax or financial services is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in the Yreka - Mt. Shasta area, visiting multiple locations as needed.
• Bachelor's degree from accredited university preferred; graduate degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day service delivery across multiple offices to ensure accurate, timely, and friendly client support.
• Monitor key performance metrics and support sales and local marketing efforts.
• Coach and develop office teams, lead training and provide performance feedback.
• Support recruitment and onboarding activities for new staff.
• Resolve client escalations and implement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with local leaders to maintain high standards and optimize workflows.
