Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an Area Experience Leader to manage a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, and drive operational readiness across locations.

You will own staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations while coaching teams to achieve client outcomes and business results. Travel across offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments with accountability for outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Strong leadership capability with coaching and accountability skills.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations, including labor management.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 assigned offices with consistent standards.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact, using insights to improve the experience.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with client-centric leadership.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, setting clear expectations and accountability.
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior, performance, and real-time feedback to strengthen team execution.
• Identify patterns across offices, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
