Greenlight America is seeking a Regional Campaign Manager to lead campaigns for clean energy projects across a Northern California region. This fully remote role requires frequent travel and reports to the Senior Manager, Campaigns.

The role blends strategic planning, organizing, communications, lobbying, and coalition management to mobilize grassroots support and drive permits for local energy projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in grassroots campaigns or related fields.
• Proven track record of achieving campaign outcomes at the local level is a strong plus.
• Strong strategic judgment with adaptable campaign strategies.
• Experience leading work through coalitions and volunteers without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead campaigns for clean energy projects and ordinances; mobilize volunteers and win approvals.
• Develop campaign plans with goals, strategies, and timelines; use diverse tactics.
• Coordinate across teams, consultants, and partners to execute plans.
• Ensure effective tactics: volunteer mobilization, outreach, events, support groups, and leader development.
• Build relationships with regional organizations; navigate conflicts to align partners.
• Support partner organizations and volunteers with training and advocacy materials.
• Oversee grant agreements and ensure deliverables; report campaign data.
• Manage consultant contracts and ensure deliverables.
• Develop and manage campaign budgets, including regrants and digital ads.
• Share insights to improve departmental excellence.
• Occasionally campaign outside assigned region; travel 10–25%.
