Job summary

Greenlight America is seeking a Regional Campaign Manager to lead campaigns for clean energy projects across an assigned region. You will develop campaign strategies, support partner organizations, cultivate the leadership of volunteers, and track deliverables to mobilize grassroots support for clean energy initiatives from home base in Northern California with frequent travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in campaigns, organizing, or advocacy.
• Strong track record of achieving campaign outcomes, especially at local level.
• Strategic judgment with experience building winning strategies and adapting to conditions.
• Demonstrated team leadership without formal authority across teams.
• Strong project management with detail orientation and group facilitation.
• Experience leading coalitions and working with volunteers across diverse groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable with diverse audiences.
• Willingness to learn quickly and apply feedback.
• Experience with digital campaigning tools and tactics.
• Creative thinking, risk-taking, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Passion for accelerating the clean energy transition.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead campaigns for clean energy projects and ordinances across assigned contexts with partner organizations and volunteers.
• Develop campaign plans with goals, strategies, and timelines, using diverse tactics.
• Coordinate work across teams, consultants, and partners to execute plans without direct authority.
• Ensure effective tactics including volunteer mobilization, outreach, events, and advocacy groups.
• Build and maintain relationships with regional organizations and coalitions to align partners.
• Provide support to partner organizations and volunteer leaders through training and advocacy materials.
• Oversee grant agreements and regular reporting of campaign data; manage consultant contracts.
• Develop and manage campaign budgets including regrants, digital ads, and major expenses.
• Share insights across the campaigns team to improve department performance.
• Occasionally lead campaigns outside assigned region and travel 10-25% of time.
• Other duties as assigned.
