Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join a safety‑conscious team in Lexington, SC. This route covers several states and averages 65 hours per week with weekly home time.

The role pays an average of $100k–$120k per year and may include a $7,500 sign-on bonus, with compensation including hourly wages for on‑duty time. Responsibilities include operating tractor trailer tankers, loading/unloading waste, securing loads, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience.
• HAZMAT endorsement required.
• Ability to secure and load materials safely.
• Proficiency with mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the priority by following safe work practices.
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units.
• Adheres to weights and uses units properly.
• Loads and unloads hazardous/non-hazardous waste safely.
• Secures loads and documents as required.
• Maintains logs, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and inspections.

Job description

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Lexington, SC! This route runs from Lexington,SC to AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, WV, & VA and averages 65 hours per week.

About the role:

• Drivers average $100-$120K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available
• Weekly home time
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;
• Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to climb and work from heights
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
