Clean Harbors in Kingsland, GA is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join our safety-conscious team. This route operates from Kingsland, GA to the Southeast, averaging about 2,400 miles per week.

Drivers average $90,000 to $120,000 per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Home most weekends. Compensation includes hourly wages for on-duty time and mileage pay. Health benefits start after 30 days of full-time employment and a 401K with company matching are provided.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Ability to climb and lift 50 lbs or more.
• Familiarity with mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer tanker units.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of units.
• Loads and unloads hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste safely.
• Properly secures loads and ensures safe transport.
• Places required DOT placards and maintains compliant paperwork.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.

Responsibilities

Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

Operates tractor trailer tanker units

Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units

Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;

Properly secures the loads

Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
