Job summary

Walmart is hiring Class A CDL drivers for its private fleet in Greencastle, IN. Drivers earn competitive pay with per-mile and activity pay, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus and benefits from day one. Regional drivers can reach up to $110,000 in the first year with 21 days PTO and 401(k) matching.

No-touch freight, frequent pay increases, and Driver perks are available. Drivers must have a CDL A with Hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 120 days) and meet experience requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires Interstate (Class A) CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire.
• No more than two moving violations in last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in last 3 years.
• No preventable accidents in last 3 years.
• Residence within 250 miles of theGreencastle facility or willingness to relocate within 250 miles.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily routes and coordinate with team to move freight safely and on time.
• Complete all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately per DOT and company rules.
• Safely operate tractor-trailer and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Run optimized routes while following traffic laws and local restrictions to improve on-time delivery.
• Uphold Walmart’s safety, integrity, and professionalism in every mile.
