Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Regional Truck Driver to join our private fleet at the McCordsville, IN facility. You will plan daily routes, ensure safe, on-time deliveries, and manage required logs in compliance with DOT guidelines.

This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, weekly home time, and opportunities for PTO, a 401K match, and comprehensive medical plans from day one. Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year with mileage-based pay.

Qualifications

• Interstate (Class A) CDL with Hazmat endorsement or will obtain within 120 days of hire
• Minimum 30 months (2.5 years) experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in last 3 years
• No serious traffic violations in last 3 years and no preventable DOT accidents in last 10 years

Responsibilities

• Plan your day, set priorities, and work with your team to keep freight moving safely and on time
• Handle required paperwork and electronic logs following DOT, state, and company guidelines
• Safely operate tractor-trailer and inspect it before, during, and after trips to keep it in top shape
• Run optimized routes by following traffic laws and local restrictions, reducing delays and improving on-time delivery
• Uphold Walmart’s safety, integrity, and professionalism every mile of the way
