Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Regional Truck Driver in Indianapolis, IN to join our private fleet. You will plan daily routes, maintain logs, and ensure timely deliveries while complying with DOT and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement required or will obtain within 120 days of hire.
• Minimum 30 months (2.5 years) experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the last 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• Must live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or relocate within 250 miles by 90 days from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Plan your day, set priorities, and work with your team to keep freight moving safely and on time.
• Handle all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately and follow all DOT, state, and company guidelines.
• Safely operate your tractor-trailer, inspecting it before, during, and after each trip.
• Run optimized routes by following traffic laws and local restrictions to reduce delays and improve on-time delivery.
• Uphold Walmart’s high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism every mile.
