Job summary

CMC is seeking a skilled truck driver to handle regional deliveries and logistics workflows across the area. You will complete paperwork, perform pre/post trip inspections, and ensure timely, safe delivery of products to customers and sites.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, and the ability to lift 65 lbs. You will work outdoors in varied weather and adhere to DOT regulations while on the road.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and be 21+.
• Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience (3 years flatbed OTR preferred).
• Ability to pass DOT physicals and drug testing.
• No DUI/DWI in past 5 years.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong verbal communication and English comprehension.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and flexible hours.
• Clean driving record with no more than one moving violation in 3 years.
• Experience with loading, chaining, tarping, and securing cargo is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery paperwork and communicate load or timing issues with dispatch, sales, and customers.
• Conduct daily pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections of truck and cargo.
• Deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the region.
• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Inventory and inspect products to confirm quantity and condition.
• Load, secure, and deliver cargo safely and on time.
• Maintain vehicle service and repair logs per state and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles using ELD and safety dashcams (training provided).
• Perform loading tasks including chaining, strapping, tarping, trailer hooking/unhooking, and safe climbs.
• Perform additional duties to ensure safe, compliant transportation per regulations.
• Work flexible hours and be available based on business needs.
