Job summary

CMC is seeking a driver to support delivery operations across our regional sites in South Carolina. You will responsibly operate trucks, complete paperwork, communicate with customers and internal teams, and ensure loads are delivered safely and on time.

Responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining logs, and complying with DOT and company safety rules. The role requires passing a road test and working 12-hour shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver\'s license and be able to pass a company road test.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.
• Pass required DOT and CMC Logistics drug testing programs and physicals as required by DOT.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions and lift and handle loads.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and coordinate with production, sales, and customers about loads and delivery times.
• Drive trucks to weigh stations and document weights and route to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Ensure loads are secured and delivered safely and on time.
• Perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections as part of daily routines.
• Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service status, and any incidents.
• Deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the region.

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
