Job summary

SC Department of Social Services is seeking a Regional Case Manager for Child Support Services. The role involves supervising and preparing cases for Family Court, locating parents, and coordinating interstate support. Strong attention to policy, documentation, and court liaison is essential.

The position requires a High School Diploma with 4 years of related experience, with options for higher education to substitute experience. Valid driver's license and field work are required.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma and four (4) years of experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business, to include two (2) years of experience with Child Support Services.
• An Associate Degree and two (2) years of experience with Child Support Services.
• A Bachelor's Degree or higher may be substituted for the required work experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and prepare child support cases for Family Court, conduct court activities, follow-up on cases including parent locate and interstate cases, and provide general child support enforcement services.
• Prepare cases for court; verify and notarize pleadings, schedule hearings, file papers, and liaise with Court personnel and Sheriff's personnel; use PACSS, Word, Outlook, and TEAMS.
• Maintain control of caseload; handle correspondence and inquiries; process intergovernmental cases; coordinate with other states and document in agency systems.
• Protect personal identifying information; safeguard agency networks, equipment, and data.
